Ok, i did already different variants of 2mm game boards and finally i landed on a mixture of "Bruce Weigle" and own ideas.
Sadly i dont have a air brush set (and also not the knowledge), with those you could colorize the surface better, including fields. Therefore i used for th fields simple pieces of mats from the modelmaking supplies.
And as always, when you try a new thing, you learn about your "mistakes" and next game board can be better
With units it could looks like this

I think the airbrushing came out well. Especially in the top photo you got a really good relief effect. You can see the transition form low ground around the stream on the left, a series of brown draws leading to some high ground, and then descending ground towards the stream on the right hand side.
The rings of trees are very Wegelian!

This scenario has a size of 120x120cm
Yes, the woods are original Bruce Weigle style. I like in meantime those idea, it´s practical for game and you don´t need as many trees to fill up full wood area.

Soon first german tabletop CON´s pending, so the board need only a few more details more to shwo it as gaming table Because @zach´s first ACW buildings are ready, i can switch the the smaller 1:1000/1200 buildings of other providers, with those new variants.
