Hi Nik! I've seen your photos before; the certainly pop up a lot of places. They look great! Glad to hear of your interest in FMS. It's a very different take on 2mm than Irregular has done; I started my company mostly because Irregular don't have a retailer in the US anymore. Ironically, the business model I came up with skips the entire retailer/wholesaler/shipping/storing hassle, and delivers figures right to the gamers (other than the whole 3D printing part!). If you're new to 3D printing, you can find a short breakdown on my website, www.forwardmarchstudios.com. It's already in need of updating, as the 3D printing world is constantly changing. Printers are getting cheaper and better (if you own your own printer the figures are almost free to print from what I'm told - I don't have my own printer). The best alternative to Shapeways was 3DHubs.com (which connects you with a local printer and lets you IM them and pay all through the 3DHubs portal), but they've since changed their business structure a bit and now require a $35 minimum order. I'm trying out treakstock.com at the moment and they look very promising as an alternative to Shapeways and the new 3DHubs. I know that 3DHubs used to have a lot of operators in the UK, so there are definitely people who can print my figures for you locally. Let me know how it goes!

Awesome - thanks Zach, great to be here & I've had a decent peruse of your site; I'll give some gaming contacts in the UK a shout (I know a fair amount of people who, more than likely, have a printer) but it's probably worth me looking at putting a shout out on 3DHubs anyway... There's even a half-decent chance that one of my local gaming compadres (who I've neglected lately as well 'cos of work and adult and other over-rated stuff) has got a 3D printer by now anyway Right - about time I invested in your business model I reckon...off to order now

...and bought... that's a *ton* of files Now to figure out what to sort first... most likley, ACW as I sold my 2mm ages ago (& immediately regretted it!) - and I'm doing ACW in 28mm at the moment as well (to go with my 10mm, of course) so that might make sense...

I just added him in. Definitely check out the Member's Only section of the forums. It's got all of Rob's fan files. He's almost got as many models as the official Library at this point. There's some interesting WW1 stuff in there too.
