Hi All, Long time lurker and new member. I've printed a few 2mm and 3mm from the library, but I have had very little success on an FDM printer (resin prints easy peasy). I have narrowed it down to the number of retractions causing the prints to fail. What are your suggestions on tweaking the setting? I've listed me travel settings below (Ender 3V2): Halp me, you are my only hope.

Which software are you using? I have an Ender 3 Pro and they work great. Let me compare settings.

I'm using Cura 5.5. Did you set all of those values for the retraction? I have no values for any of those settings except a check in the "enable retraction" box and my machine prints great.

These are the retraction setting I use for 28mm printing, which very well may be why the prints keep failing. I was able to fuss with the settings after selecting expert for print settings.

Success with the FDM friendly infantry, next trying out some of Suntzu's 30yw units.

Successful print, just some stringing issues.

Wow lots of stringing issues. Is this normal for your printer?

no, could be that I'm using a .4mm nozzle or I need to tweak my settings/temp more.

I have had a lot of stringing issues, which I have never been able to fully solve. One YouTube video suggested drying the filament with a food dehydrator, which seemed to help.

I reduced the speed and increased the temp to 200 and saw a reduction in stringing but still present. I will probably do some more tests at 5 degree increments.
