Hi from a new member.
I am being tempted into 2mm for these conflicts, due to the large size of the armies involved.
Any tips for the most suitable figures?
Alan

Its more about the formations of the units you want to represent. And the base sizes for the rules you play. The details are painted on so it doesnt really matter
FPW is a great war to refight and I would do it in 2mm if I didn't already have 1000's of figures in 6mm. The earlier period with the big battles is popular, but I think the later period fought in winter would look amazing on the right terrain.

Thanks for the reply. What particular formations would you suggest? I will be using Bloody Big Battles which has bases of 30x30mm, each representing 1-2,000 men depending on the size of the battle.

Alan I would make little dioramas of the bases and perhaps have multiple bases as a single stand , just make it look nice
