If you want a slight change of empehsis and style have a look at the Battle of Kagul which was part of the Russo-Turkish Wars in 1770. This is the conquest of Moldova and western Ukraine by Polkovedets Pyotr Rumyantsev (Colonel-General Peter Rumyantsev) where an army of 40,000 Russians attacks a force of 150,000 Turks by using huge 10,000 men squares with the artillery marching in the middle and occassionally stopping to blast the Turkish cavalry. The map scale in Fadens or Versts shows that they marched around 12 kilometers. The nearest Napoleonic equivalent is Napoleon in Egypt against the Mamaluks. I just like the idea of a 200 element square crossing the table..... militarymaps.rct.uk/russo-turkish-wars/battle-of-kagul-1770-plan-dvizhenyii-ataki-i-sovershennoy-planen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Kagul
