Those are very good prints other than the base issue. Suntzu can help you fix it; most prints that are that clean don't have issues with the bases so it's probably just a setting issue. Nice to see someone using the "deployed" models!

Nice to see someone using the "deployed" models! Thank you for providing figurines to test the printer. I now know what it is capable of (I recognize the horses and the basics are very solid in PLA). I still have some tests and adjustments to do. Is the infantry in groups of ten or more?

Hi Erich,
I didn't realize that model was from the free test batch.
Well, there are dozens and dozens of different infantry models designed in different styles.
There are stylized models without gaps between figures - the recess must be painted to show shadow between the troops. There are also figures that have free standing infantry figures. There are figures that are 1:1 scale models of infantry (and cavalry) units.
The model you printed out is actually a somewhat stylized company formation that also makes for a good "brigade" model for certain games (like Blucher). In the model you printed each section is standing separately. They would not have fought in that fashion; the gaps would have been filled. The "deployed" models in the Library are similar, and available in enough sizes that you can recreate the infantry battalions, regiments, and brigades at 1:1 scale for most of the armies in the Napoleonic Wars (and most 19th Century Wars, too).
The cavalry are available in a variety of sizes, including as "deployed" scale models. There are also lancers that will print up great in SLS or resin (printing them in FDM is trickier but it can be done!).
All of the different troop types are provided in a variety of base sizes (20mm, 30mm, 40mm, and 60mm, plus several other variations). Models are provided with printed-on flags, double flags, and no flags. The idea is that the range gives you the maximum options so that it fits with whatever rules or basing that you want to utilize.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Erich...try a print plate temperature of 65c. I had to tinker with my Ender 3 until I found a setting that works for my machine.
